Crochet flower ring

This project is so sweet..and must try it!
i just thought that i have a few box of plain bangles which is the Indian bangles witch fits for this project..

aww..inspired..




let me try 1st and i will share the pattern i took from lolanovablog !

i just stole some 20 minutes of my working hour doing this for my little beautiful nephew.. :)
using the balance of red yarn from Zara's scarf..

The pattern i took from yarnchick40 with some modification and the flower i took from pompomemporium and also with some modifications

Sandal:  make 2
ring & row 1 – (with platinum) ch 12 for toe ring sl st to make ring, ch 3, dc 3 x’s into ring (4 stitches)
row 1 – ch 3, turn, (inc on each end) dc for total of 6 stitches
row 2 – ch 3, turn, (inc on each end) dc for a total of 8 stitches
row 3, 4, & 5 – ch3, turn, dc 7 for a total of 8 stitches each
at the end of row 5 – ch approx 30 and tie off (strap)
attach to the opposite end of row 5 and ch approx 30, tie off (strap)

Flower
Leaving a 10" length for sewing, chain 57.
Row 1 (Wrong side): (Dc, ch 2, dc) in sixth ch from hook (5 skipped chs count as first dc plus ch 2),*ch 2, skip next 2 chs, (dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch; repeat from * across: 36 sps
Row 2: Ch 3, turn; 5 dc in next ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-2 sp, (6 dc in next ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-2 sp) 5times, (9 dc in next ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-2 sp) 5 times, (12 dc in next ch-2 sp, sc in next sp) 7 times;finish off leaving a 10" length for sewing.
Thread yarn needle with yarn end from beginning chain. With right side facing and beginning with firstpetal made, refer to photo to roll Rose; sew to secure as you roll. Then thread needle with ending yarn and sew to secure.

it turns up to be like this!!hahahaha..the final product is just too big for the little angle foot..


The scarf project is completed

the scarf project that was in my list is now completed

below is the final product and im happy with it..and i hope Zara likes it too :)

New crochet project starting next week

I'm so inspired with this design and i wish to make one for my self
 but this project can only be started next Monday, I'll be off to KT this Friday until Sunday
my nephew's birthday and my hubby'2 candat sotong event but I'm not allowed to join
 kejam nye... (T_T)

lets share the pattern:

UK dc = US sc
UK dc = US tr

R1 :Using the same colour yarn as for joining the squares, join yarn in a corner 1ch space of the blanket.  Work 5ch (counts as 1dc, 4ch), 1dc in same space, *4ch, miss 2 dc, 1dc in next dc* around but working (1dc, 4ch, 1dc) into each 1ch space at corners. work final 4ch and join with sl st to 1st of starting 5ch. Fasten off.

R2: Join new colour yarn in any 4ch space. Work 4ch (counts as 1tr, 1ch), 1tr in same space, *(1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into each 4ch space* around, but working [(1tr, 1ch, 1tr), 3ch, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr)] in each corner 4ch space. Join with sl st to 3rd of 4ch.

R3: 3ch (counts as 1st tr), 1 tr in next tr, and then each tr and each 1ch space around, but working (3tr, 3ch, 3tr) in each corner 3ch space. Join with sl st to 3rd of 3 ch.

R4: Join new colour. Work 4ch (counts as 1tr, 1ch), 1tr in same space, *miss 2 tr, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into next tr* around, but working [(1tr, 1ch, 1tr), 3ch, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr)] in each corner 3ch space. Join with sl st to 3rd of 4ch.

R5: repeat R3

R6: repeat R4

R7: repeat R3

A shawl for a special friend

I'm making a crochet shawl for summer project for my good friend who will be leaving to London in few months time.
this is supposed to be a surprise, and i hope it is since she didn't notice that i have a blog..ngeh3..

i chose chilli red yarn as red is her fav color and i just make it thin but long and hopefully when she wears it, it turned up to be quite like this:



and yes of course its different, i'm still no good in knitting.. :(
im crocheting the who thing as a freestyle pattern
my product for the Eurasian girl Zara Zakaria!



Hopefully she loves it! Gonna miss u babe!
